World’s Fastest Fire Truck – Say Whaaat?!!
You won’t want to miss this! The AfterShock Jet Fire Truck will be roaring into Mather Airport this October! This 1940 Ford Fire Truck boasts TWIN Rolls-Royce Bristol Viper Jet Engines totaling over 24,000 horsepower and holds the Guinness Record for the FASTEST Fire Truck at an amazing 407-MPH!
AfterShock can accelerate from 0-300 mph in just over 10 seconds, allowing it to catch an airplane with a 150-mph head start in a race! To stop this high-speed beast, military-grade parachutes that produce a huge negative ‘g’ impact are deployed.
It brings a whole new meaning to “Fire Truck” – it is truly an assault on all of your senses with huge flames coming out of the jet engines, fire shooting out of the smoke stacks, intense heat, deafening noise, and SPEED as it blasts down the runway!
Who’s behind the wheel?
Mark Smith is the primary driver for Darnell Racing’s AfterShock, with a long career in drag racing he’s pretty much done it all, having driven many types of drag cars before moving over to 300-mph jet dragsters and now to jet truck driving!
AfterShock’s FAST, FIERY and FUN performances will pay tribute to the Super Hero firefighters across our great state and beyond for their bravery, service and sacrifice.
Faster than a Bugatti Veyron, with 70% more horsepower than a NASCAR stock car, which aircraft on this year’s roster would even be willing to take on Aftershock? We will find out this October 5-6!
