ONE-OF-A-KIND AEROBATIC BONANZA RETURNING THIS SEPTEMBER 23-24!
A what? A Bonanza? Yes, a Bonanza! Almost everyone at an airshow has seen a Bonanza, but never dreamed it was capable of doing the aerobatic routine that pilot Jim Peitz puts it through!
This specialized Beechcraft F33C Bonanza, one of 118 built, performs an amazing demonstration that will leave fans completely mesmerized! It is capable of a wide range of aerobatic maneuvers (unusual for a Bonanza) including loops, point rolls, barrel rolls, snap rolls, Cuban eights, and hammerheads (yes, it goes vertical). The Bonanza handles it all in style and with Jim’s expert touch he makes it all look easy.
But putting on an amazing show is just one part of his awesome performance, Jim also enjoys meeting fans and hearing their stories. “I can’t wait to perform in Sacramento for the first-time! But I am even more excited to walk along the ramp and shake hands, give autographs and take selfies with all of the fans. See y’all in October,” said Peitz.
Jim Peitz is from Pierre, South Dakota where his father taught him to fly in the 1970’s. He began teaching himself aerobatics in 1992, and has since amassed over 14,000 incident-free hours in over 100 aircraft types! His most recent addition to this impressive list is the P-51 Mustang. Jim was checked out in the storied aircraft by Mr. Mustang himself, Lee Lauderback.
He also owns and operates Mustang Aviation, a full service FBO, charter company and maintenance facility at the Pierre Regional Airport.
When he isn’t flying airshows, operating Mustang Aviation or Alliance Aircraft Sales, Jim enjoys taking is Cessna 180 to the back country for some fishing or pheasant hunting in the hills of South Dakota.
