F-22 RAPTOR DEMO TEAM RETURNS TO SACRAMENTO! (FB)

For the first time since 2014, the United States Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team will turn the skies to thunder at the 2022 California Capital Airshow!

The Raptor demonstration departs the perceptions of aerodynamics and flight. It simply does things that will leave you completely slackjawed. As always, the best place to see this is at Mather Airport this October 1-2!

The F-22 Raptor Demo Team is the world’s first 5th generation dedicated combat aircraft demonstration unit and remains the only twin-engine, vectored-thrust demonstration unit in the world. The Raptor’s combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities. The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force.
