The California Capital Airshow has been selected to host a US Navy Legacy Flight featuring a vintage F8F Bearcat and a modern-day F/A-18 Super Hornet. Both aircraft will join up to pay special tribute to the Navy’s aviation legacy.

F8F Bearcat Pilot – Steve Hinton
Steve Hinton, a fixture in the world of warbirds, has performed at airshows around the world since about 1983, more than 150 different types of aircraft. His restoration company has restored more than 40 warbirds to pristine flying condition. He has been President of the Planes of Fame Air Museum since 1994, is a founding member of the Motion Picture Pilots Assoc., civilian pilot with the USAF Heritage Flight; World Speed Record holder, and Reno Air Race Champion. He has more than 7,000 hours flying WWII fighters.
